Following the joint committee meeting of September 2009 the 2010 season has now been
mapped out.
The 2010 season is a mix of activities in the UK and France which if previous
years are to be repeated will be great fun.
Walking Weekend in Edenbridge
- Friday 23rd APRIL to Sunday 25th APRIL 2010
A
chance to host our French guests and join the Saturday walk for all. The
current plan for the Saturday walk is to start from near Haysden Lake on the
River Medway; make our way along the river valley to Tudeley Hale. We hope
to visit All Saints' Tudeley to view 12 of the world famous Chagall's
stained glass windows. Although Marc Chagall was Russian the windows were
made in collaboration with Charles Marq in his workshop at Reims in northern
France and so our guests will be able to view this unique collection made by
one of their countrymen. After lunch we will make our way back to Tonbridge.
